The doctor was amazing. Very thorough and very kind. My only problem was not being notified that the office I was going to was not open and that my appointment was to be a telehealth. Other than that everything was great!

My provider was not very personable and completely disregarded what I asked of her. I asked to not be on certain meds due to past issues with those meds, she suggested I begin to take them again at lower doses. She was useful to get a start on my treatment plan but I have since switched psychiatrists. Only had 2 visits.

It’s hard to get in contact with the office in case of emergencies. Same thing with getting in contact with the psychiatrists. Missing a meeting is 200$ and can’t be waived even in emergencies. Genuinely one of the worse places I’ve been to in terms of care.

After a slight less than a year, the 3rd provider assigned to me is a woman. Much easier to speak with as well as trust with all my mental health issues, especially with C-PTSD (every reason on PFA is checked), anxiety and depression along with combined ADHD. Hopefully, Anne will be my provider for the long term and not just 3 or 4 months like all previous medication “providers”. Don’t get me wrong, the other providers were ok, just not women. A good match, for me, makes such a difference. Thanks for listening Anne.My only complaint is being on the waitlist since signing up with Insite, and no one informing me Insite policy had changed and no long take medicaid for therapy, only medication. I felt months were wasted. I’m still looking. I’ve had insurance issues since I escaped from X must depend on Medicaid. I feel I am taking 1 step forward 3 steps back every month I cannot connect with a therapist or therapy group. An absolute mess since Covid and have not been able to find one Domestic Violence Groups or Therapists specializing in Domestic Violence and Narcissism in NJ or DE. I feel like I’m going insane a little each day as family and friends part ways due to their ignorance regarding domestic violence, contantanly feeling like I’m defending myself. Not much different from being with Narc, except I’m not getting hit, raped, belittled, etc., and he can no longer harm my pets. Other than that, it absolutly and completlety sucks when I’ve left over 6 years ago and still have not gotten past my escaping and all that goes with it.

Did an in person session and they have no receptionist so when you go it’s like no one is there . No lights on only in the hall way to the offices , it felt like walking into a closed store .The therapist was amazing but he left and now im once again looking for a new therapist.

I have had 2 doctors in the over 2 years that’s over been a patient and I absolutely love this company! Personally, my drs listen to me, are so personable, we vibe great, they’re just amazing in every way. The company also, no issues ever. Dr1 had a medical emergency and suddenly left. The company handled it quickly and professionally and had me set up with a new Dr before my next appt. Dr2, I couldn’t have gotten a better one. I always recommend this company to anyone in need and I have nothing but great experiences

Infuriating to deal with once you are a patient. Every time you call you have to deal with a controlling non clinician that demands a full explanation in detail of WHY you need to talk to who you need to talk to. Saying I have an appointment right now and the zoom is not working……is not good enough. Saying I have a telehealth visit…. right now and I am paying for it every minute you make me explain….not good enough. You must fully in detail explain everything to a non clinician down to the most minute details. Once the non clinician uses their great medical wisdom to decide they believe your call is important enough they will transfer it, likely to a voicemail box.Additionally if they do transfer you to an actual person…. they do not bother to pass on ANY of the information they demanded. You waste all that time and have to explain it all again. Lazy. Rude. IF YOU ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE ANOTHER OPTION TAKE IT! They know they can get away with treating you like garbage and they still get paid, and have no problem doing exactly that. Give way too much control to non clinicians that have no control anywhere else in their lives and exert it freely.The actual clinicians are great but treat this as a revolving door. They are aware that it is a cash grab. They work for a while and by the time you build a relationship…they have their resume entry, are sick of it, and move on.Preying on the underprivileged and underserved so clearly is disgusting. Allowing non clinicians the opportunity to violate your hippa rights is also. The system is broken and this is one place that found their way to take.

The absolute best team for psychiatric services I’ve ever come across. It took me years to finally find medical providers to properly treat my ADHD & prescribe me the doses of medication I needed which of course, many providers are scared/not willing to do so as most ADHD meds are controlled. However, since receiving care from Dr. Obinna Anyanwu, he always carefully listened to me, was willing to properly manage my ADHD, and overall, he’s a highly intellectual doctor that actually cares about his patients. Ever since, my life has rotated into a full 360. I know have an amazing career & now I’m currently perusing on continuing my education in college as well at Harvard University. Never in a million years I thought that I would finally find a provider to treat the severity of my ADHD. Without him, I would have never been where I am today in terms of being a highly functional individual. Thank you for such great care & treatment. Highly recommended if you’re seeking to get treated for a certain diagnosis!

Our son was a patient at Insite Health. They ended up continuing to see us after they stopped taking our insurance after they did not tell us and kept making appointments after we had a conversation with them they said we would not be billed for sessions going forward. We went the whole 9 months with no bill, as soon as we leave the practice we get a huge bill that says it will be going to collections. I have called everyday for 2 weeks, I am put on hold saying “ I’ll give her a message and she will get back to you “ or sent to voicemail and they refuse to call me back. Really poor communication skills. I will continue to call everyday until they decide to call back and continue to write reviews. They can’t ignore the situation.Someone needs to call us back about the situation. We do have proof we were told we wouldn’t be billed.

I love my provider Michelle. Been with her for overTwo years now or more. She is kind. Compassionate. And most importantly is knowledgeable about pharmaceuticals and evidence based practices.She always listens to me; the patient and remembers things I have told her about my life and or symptoms. I feel like I could contact her at any time and feel comfortable doing so if I needed anything. The appt is never rushed or pressured. She gives you an email if need to contact or have questions.I’m seen every two or three months depending. I have no complaints. She’s always been diligent; kind; and willing to go the extra mile if needed.I hope she never leaves insite health because I really don’t think I’d find a better MHNP. I’ve seen quite a few in the past decade and I’ve never felt completely satisfied with the experience or provider but I’m finding myself very satisfied and comfortable at insite and I think my provider makes all the difference. I’m very grateful to be a patient ( her patient). The online experience is great too as well as the patient portal. No issues.Thanks! CC

I had a video appointment with Joshua Schorr if you have a problem with depression or feeling suicidal or if you have ADHD or anxiety I highly recommend you find someone else.He likes to think outside the box ,he’s an arrogant douchebag, he might as well just give you a bottle of scotch and a handgun if you want to be talked down to and misdiagnosed be my guest try him out. Another doctor that over prescribed the ADHD medication and gave everybody and their mother prescription for Adderall they’re probably keeping a close eye on them making sure he doesn’t prescribe it to anyone and I love how they advertise how they specialize in ADHD give me a break I’m sure that I’m not the only one going through this dilemma he was so unpleasant this is the first review I ever left in my life something tells me that the appointment would not have went the way it did if it was an in-person appointment good luck to everybody I hope this review helped

My initial call was returned and I was assigned a provider relatively quick. Unfortunately the appointment felt scripted and very textbook-like; she didn’t introduce herself or ask my name from the start. The provider asked me questions from an assessment and made a determination based on a few stereotypical questions. She read a list of medications and what they are good for, and picked one based on what the assessment told her. The whole thing felt very robotic and not at all personable. I called them in an attempt to switch to a different provider, but they told me they’d have to ask the higher-up management if it would be OK and I should call back later in the week to see if anyone will let me switch. Very difficult and frustrating.

In the time with speaking to the specialist Insite scheduled us with things we’re comfortable, easy to understand, and the assessment was accurate and we were in agreement. The paperwork seems a little extreme but they want as much information as possible which I appreciate.What I would like like to see if we ever need another appointment is additional medical diagnosis or an additional worksheet for added information not covered in the medical diagnosis list.The staff over the phone were courteous and the report was done in accurate timing. Great job to all the staff. Thank you.

I was a patient here for almost a year, expecting a $15 copay per session. To my surprise, I received a bill totaling $400 for services going back as far as August, with double billing for each session. The lack of transparency was disappointing, and had I known about these charges upfront, I would have reconsidered my choice of healthcare provider. When I reached out to inquire, the response was not only unhelpful but also quite rude. Transparency regarding billing practices is crucial for patient trust and satisfaction.Later, I spoke with the practice’s VP, who mentioned that their billing is arbitrary because insurance companies determine payment rates. He suggested they have no control over their pricing. This situation raises concerns about potential insurance fraud.

I would have to say our experience was awesome all the way around. We were taken exactly on our appointment time which is unheard of now a days. And Dr Matthew was unbelievable with my son. Empathetic, listened to all of my concerns and his. Explained everything in detail. And my son who hasn’t been great with therapists in general can’t wait to go back and see Dr. Matthew again. I would recommend him to anyone whose children need help. I’ll update after our second appointment. But don’t know if it can get any better. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Went in for an appointment for my 11 yr old daughter who has been experiencing anxiety issues, never saw any type of therapist before so she was kind of nervous, but everyone greeted us warmly, were very friendly and even gave us chocolates! I had the most pleasant and relaxing experience with Michelle. No wait time. The office was quiet and relaxing and she took me in right on time. I was extremely pleased with how thorough she was and how she seemed like she was actually listening to me and taking things in, unlike other psychiatrists I have seen who just stare at their computer screens emotionless. Her voice was soft and calming and set a great tone for the whole session. I am very fortunate to have found Michelle and also cannot wait to start my therapy there as well.

Dr. Josh is amazing finally an actual psychiatrist that listens to you and goes out of his way to get to the problems and gets you what it takes to get you back on track…. Doesn’t have an attitude about working through things with him by pushing you on therapy and making you feel like his time is too valuable to listen… In the past doctors in the Newark area they’ll make you feel as they don’t have time to listen to your problems… As if they are above you… Dr Josh is a great person and shows empathy and compassion through his sessions….

Update: I previously gave Insight a 1-star review because of a bad experience with one of their customer service representatives. So as promised, this is the update. I proceeded to go directly to Insite Psychiatry at their Vineland location thinking I would encounter the lady who hung up on me. I was angry, but to my surprise, there was a smiling face she said “Hello welcome to Insite my name is Dorie, how can I help you? So I told myself this can’t be the lady I talked to on the phone. I said you can help me by telling me who the lady is who hung up on me two days ago. So then Dorie explained to me that there is a central calling office that takes a lot of their calls. She also said Insite had several offices throughout New Jersey. Dorie apologized to me for having a bad experience and it wasn’t even her fault! By this time I was calm because she was being so nice to me. I then proceeded to tell her I was there to schedule two evaluation appointments for two of my daughters. I didn’t realize I forgot their insurance information, which is required to set an appointment. So Dorie patiently waited while I called to get the needed information. She got both of my daughters’ appointments very quickly I believe it was a week or less! Dorie was courteous, professional, very kind, and compassionate about my concerns. She answered all my questions, a lot of questions! The whole time she was smiling and we had a wonderful conversation! She did not rush me out of there, I actually wanted to stay longer to chat but I had other errands to run. So Dorie set us up with Alfina, wow, she is amazing, both my daughters immediately liked her. My youngest wanted to meet her, unfortunately, she works remotely from her home in Pennsylvania. Alfina gave my daughter the correct medication, answered all my questions, and we even let her chat with my 11-year-old daughter in private. So she made a great impression on me right away! I’m very overprotective about my girls, but she gained my trust quickly. Alfina responds to my emails promptly and we are seeing her soon for our third appointment. So basically I can not let one bad apple ruin all the awesome people who work at Insite. I have an appointment myself to see Diane Burt soon. They are still really hard to get ahold of on the phone, but I will not let that sway my decision to upgrade Insite Psychiatry to 5 stars. I highly recommend Diane Burt and Alfina Evans they both are extraordinary! Also thank you to Dorie for answering all my questions, it was more like an interrogation! Lol!!

Very friendly staff, they go above and beyond to help you in anyway they can, Diane Burt is the best! I refuse to see anyone else.

Diane Burt is so nice to talk to. She’s very knowledgeable and caring at the same time. I have been seeing physcatrists since I was a teenager and I finally feel like she’s gonna be the one to make a difference in my life. I can’t wait to see how I feel in a couple weeks.
